Antarctica

Antarctica is larger than europe and australia it is extremely cold. It’s like a desert but cold and the icebergs are carved by the wind and sea. I’d hate to go in a condition with one of the strongest storm there. The water is really icy but when you go all the way down to the bottom of the sea its warm because its closer to the center of the world.

There are many animals that live in Antarctica some are clumsy some are carnivores and some slide on their bellies.  The killer whale is a carnivores because it eats other whales, it also eats squid, fish, seal, dolphins and seabirds. There is one seal that eats other seals baby and that is the leopard seal they call it the leopard seal because of its spots. Did you know the emperor penguin is the largest penguin. there are 17 different types of penguins and five different types of seals.

  1. Very nice clear writing with good use of topic words Khaia. What animal have you decided to research and make your animation movie about this term?

  2. Hi Khaia,
I really enjoyed our writing, and I knew exactly what you were talking about, when I started reading it! Your writing was very clear just like Mr Marks said, and you used such big words, carnivores, loved your writing.

Keep your writing up and Proof Read More!

  3. Hi khaia

as much as i love the Antartic i wouldnt want to be a seal or a small whale, those shows we watch about antartica and how whales eats seals, polar bears eat their cubs, its like survival of the strongest and fittest out there! maybe you could write up the environmental effects of how it affects the wild life in the antarctica? just a thought.

    love mum
