Today we were learning about technology and what it means to us. Check this presentation out to see what I thought about it.

Visual Mihi

This photo is explaining things about me for example. The piano represents how I love music, the plane means I like to travle, the flags represent my family and in the middle is how much I love my family. 

War Macots

First World War mascots is a journal based on pets that travelled to WW1 and was the soldiers mascots or went there to work for example cat's went to war to keep the mice out of the trenches as the mice would have eaten the solider's food.

Anzac buiscuits

To day is a zeal zone day and for those who don't know what zeal zone is well it happens in the year 7 & 8 block all the kids split up into 5 separate groups and each group has a different subject. For e.g I am with Mrs Tele'a and we are making Anzac cookies.

I have found out alot about the Anzac biscuit for instants, the Anzac biscuit was not sent to the Anzac war, WW1, it was actually ginger nut that was sent. Gingernut was sent to Gallipoli, where the soldiers fought, because there was an ingredient that would have gone off if the Anzac biscuits if they were sent.

Here  are my questions for this week from my maths class. It wasn't to hard or to easy it was just right.

Measurement

WALT: Convert units of measurement. In class I was learning about measurement, to be honest I found it really easy. Any ways I learnt that there  was a millilitre who knew because I definitely didn't.

Basketball (Maths)

In kiwi sport we are leaning how to play basketball. So far, we have learnt how to dribble the ball.
A) Chelsea was able to dribble the ball 58 times.
B) Liz could only dribble half of what Chelsea can.
C) Semi could dribble the ball 7 times more than Chelsea
D) Izac could dribble the ball 3 times  more than Liz

Q) How many times can each person dribble the ball

Chelsea - 58
Liz - 29
Semi - 406
Izac - 87

58 / 2 = 29 - Liz

58 x 7 = _406_ - Semi
50 x 7 = 350
8 x 7 = 56
350 + 56 = 406 - Semi

29 x 3 = 87 - Izac
